Meet Some of the Gothic Moon Staff

The strength of Gothic Moon has always been our unique combination of artists and builders who have an almost unlimited variety of experience.  They eagerly apply this experience in many ways to the projects we work on.

Get to know us better and see for yourself.

Tim Mueller

President and CEO

Tim founded Gothic Moon Productions in Feburary of 1996 when he quite simply outgrew his 20'x20' garage.  Today Gothic Moon is the largest shop, sound stage and prop rental house in Orange County (currently at 34,000 square feet) and wihout a doubt the best source for creativity in the area.

Tim's resume includes more than 800 projects over the past 25 years. You would think that working on that many projects would become tedious or boring, but, the sheer variety of the projects and the unique challenges that each one brings keeps him going.

Along with the pride he takes in the work Gothic Moon creates, he is equally proud of the talented team that makes up Gothic Moon and enjoys working with them (well - really just Taicho and Suki...)

Tina Nelson

Production Manager

Welcome to Gothic Moon! Where going to work every day is like showing up to your favorite playground and hangin’ with your favorite friends! Sure there’re the occasional stressors, but have you seen the projects we crank out!? The others listed in this lovely bio spread and the fun projects you can check out in the portfolio section are the main reasons Tina has enjoyed Gothic Moon life for the last 7 years, and plans to continue to enjoy it for many years to come. And come October, the Gothic Moon family gets one bigger when Miss Tina becomes Mrs. Tina. No, her fiancé isn’t coming to work here, and no, wedding planning isn’t distracting her from her job. If anything, the love and support of her soon-to-be-husband just makes it that much easier to do her job.

Mark Siekmann

Studio Manager

Mark comes to Gothic Moon from a long history of not knowing what he wants to be when he grows up. He tried a print career, but every day was a copy of the last. He recruited graduate students, but they were all too smart. He managed a theatre department, but there is no way to manage “those” people. He fixed dorm rooms, but he cleaned one too many sewage drains. So Gothic Moon took in this lost soul.

The crazy thing is, managing the studio is all of those experiences wrapped into one - even dealing with the drain lines. Mark is able to answer all your studio questions and is dying to have you come to our stage.

Kevin Williams

Rental Manager

Kevin brings over 18 years of varying experiences in the entertainment industry to the Gothic Moon team. A self-reformed actor/magician, Kevin decided some time ago that it was time to give up the floorboards for a more "lucrative" career in prop design and fabrication. From breakaway records to anatomically correct mannequins, he's done it all. Now after running the regional theatre circuit, he's landed here at the Moon and is happy to bring to you the first, and only, professional prop house in the OC. Follow him on Twitter for special features from our stock, @gothicmoonprops. Oh, did we mention he's also a falconer? Yup at Gothic Moon, we can do everything.

Sean Hendry

Marketing Manager

Sean T. Hendry comes to Gothic Moon Productions with 20 years of Marketing and Advertising experience.  As a Creative Director and Designer he also brings a strong background in Set Design, Custom Prop Design and Fabrication.

"My goal is to get YOU into Gothic Moon and let you see for yourself how we can make your production more profitable. With the Largest Stage in Orange County, a Full Fabrication Shop on site and a truly amazing Prop Department (again, on site) you will have everything you need, right at your fingertips, to bring your creative vision to life!"
